biography: Being born as the second child in the family of lawyers, she was to be one as well; at least that’s what her parents wanted her to be,Thought when she was young, the flu season was up and she missed some of her important tests,repeating a grade, thus being late in her studies. Embarrassed that her classmates are up one grade than her, she worked hard, it didn't stop her being an honor student . Her grades were excellent, straight A’s to be specific. Though she grew bored of her serious life, well all changed when a certain Korean boy entered their school, a guy named Lee Taemin ((a friend of mine suggested this name cause I'm not that familiar with korean names)). He was 5 months older than Matsume, an upper classman, though she never paid attention to her at all. She kept on living her boring life.
One Sunday afternoon, at a holy hour where everyone was either sleeping or at home or somewhere else, it was a quiet afternoon, going to the park for a nice walk, up until she heard foot steps, though it was more like dance steps. She followed to where she heard it. And there he was that Korean upper classman. She glanced at him, amazed on how the boy can move. At first, she wasn’t seen by him because of the headphones he was wearing and his back faced her. When the song ended, Matsume guessed, the boy ended with a magnificent pose. She was in awe, though she snapped back when the upper classman turned around, finally noticing her, putting down his head phones.
Snapping out of it and looking at him directly, he looked as if he was annoyed but he raised his hand waving, a small smile formed his lips. Nervous she might do something wrong, she just breathed and waved back, returning with a smile.
Introducing himself and her doing the same then she eventually complimented on how he danced. It was both powerful but graceful. She never saw anyone personally danced like that, and that’s where she admired him so much. He laughed at her compliment, he found it cute but he was thankful for it.
He asked her if she could dance, she said no. She never tried dancing or anything related to the arts, well if you can say playing the guitar, it might. He asked her if she wanted to learn it, though she hesitated for a moment, the boy noticed this. He patted her on the head and grinned. “Don’t worry, we’ll start out small, how’s that?” he said. She wanted to try so badly, so she agreed even though her parents would never allow it., well she can always keep it a secret she thought.
A few weeks past and always at the park, at first mostly on Sundays, so less people would watch or just get glimpse of them. She was embarrassed to move at first but her upper classman started with something simple and then gone to some moderate ones, he taught her everything he knows.

Boy: Wait a second, why don’t you take off them glasses, or can’t you see right without them?
Matsume: I do have contacts, lemme go and put them on.

Putting on her contacts, the boy found her pretty; he never really saw her eyes cause of those thick frames of her glasses.

Boy: Why don’t you look like that so no one can recognize you..

She thought about it, she only had her contacts if ever her glasses get broken or get lost, it was spares. She never got to use them for some time now, maybe this was a good thing.
So she kept it on, with them she can finally dance out even if it isn’t a Sunday. No one recognized her, and this made her happy.
After a few more weeks, she can finally dance up to his level. But one problem came her way. Her grades dropped to B’s and C’s, she rarely gets A’s anymore. Of course her parents noticed this. Questioning her, she eventually confessed that she was hip hop dancing lately. This made her parents angry especially her father. From a lawyer to a dancer, a big no no. They were strict but understanding, if this was the passion their daughter has, they have no choice but to support it but on one condition , she has to maintain her grades to A’s until her middle school graduation.
She promised she would. So she studied hard, practices weren’t that often like always anymore. Of course she had to tell the Korean boy about this, but he understands. She was happy people around her understand what she’s doing.
So when the boy graduated to high school, he told Matsume, he was going back to Korea and may try to debut. Of course this disappointed her. She wanted him to stay and dance with him. Not only had that, playing songs on her guitar eventually turned into a relaxation session for both of them.
He told her, he had a crew waiting there; they were to debut all together. She was sad of course but brightened up when he asked if he can come with him.
She had to consult her parents about this, and refused at first. She is to continue her studies until college. She showed and told them about Jaewon, the elite school her upper classman sometimes mentioned to her. She could have continue her studies and live her dream. This gave them some thought, they finally agreed when she said she’s keep her grades up no matter what. Telling them she’d go back to Japan once her grades dropped.
It was decided, when she gradated from middle school, she and her senpai finally gone to Korea. Korea is beautiful! She thought.
Introducing Matsume to the boy’s crew, they warmly accepted her. She tried entering to Jaewon, but for some reason, she wasn’t accepted, depressed at first, her now “crew” told her there was other chances. She enrolled to a middle-classed school in her freshmen and sophomore years.
Of course, their crew’s debit had to happen. Joining in dance competitions, even a popular crew dancing competition that showed in tv, she had lots of time to practice when it was summer vacation. Unfortunately and fortunately, they won some but never 1st. Good enough for them. It was enough for them to get featured
Special features in magazines, appeared in talk shows and danced as back ups in music videos. Though their crew isn’t that known, it was good enough for them.
Though it was sweet to be a dance idol, Matsume still kept her promise to her parents; her grades are still high, even if it means tiring herself late at nights. When it was finally her third year, she once again, tried to enter Jaewon, this time she was hopeful. With her crew graduated and now full time dancers, she can’t get left behind. She still wanted to get into Jaewon, she still wants to improve. If she gets in. Now, she waits for the results.

personality: Matsume being pulled down one grade was very hard for her to talk with her ex-lower class men. To see their faces again, she doesn’t mind really, she’s just embarrassed she had to repeat a grade. Being the oldest in class always the oldest in any class. Though she had friends from the lower levels, she was just not that social anymore and her friends would just greet her and nothing more, a bit worried that they might get in the way of her studies not that she mentioned to them but she didn’t mind at all, though when she met Lee a big portion of her personality changed. Being the same age as he is and same school, she felt comfortable. She became more social, well not really on her classmates but being with Lee was enough to make her talk about herself. She feels confident when she’s around her crew but not so much on her own. She still needs more time in socializing with other people without them. She treats the crew like her own family, brother and sisters, she was happy but when they graduated and she left in high school was a bit scary for her, resulting to wear her thick framed glasses again. She serious, serious in her studies, I mean stated above she has to maintain her scores high or it may result her returning to Japan leaving her crew behind Korea. Being passionate about her talent, she pours every soul and feelings into what she’s doing, but it wasn’t enough, she wants to improve more so she’s always determined to get a nice result from Jeawon.

To sum it off: She's not that sociable to any new people she meets. She's serious in her studies. She's passionate about her talent. And determined to achieve her goals like getting into Jeawon.

Bad:
-When hearing a funky beat, she would just dance on the spot but of course she'd think where to. I mean a public place would be just too show off or embarrassing. She'd just do some light dance steps.
-She'd sometimes look at look interested but she's totally not, thinking it's a way for interacting with other people but still her interests needs to be caught.
-She sneezes whenever a cat's close by but of course it's natural but still.

Good:
-Her study habit is to study every night even if there isn't a test on the next day, she believes she needs to be ready for anything.
-She can make a schedule that she can live with. Both for studying and dancing
-She ask questions if she really doesnt know the lesson, it's better than acting smart and struggling yourself.
